Achieving compelling high quality through end-to-end domestic production in Japan

Since its founding in 1950, ASOH has consistently manufactured in Japan. All metals used as product materials are based on JIS standards, and use high-quality materials with material certificates and safety data sheets (SDS) attached by the material manufacturers. Under Japan’s uniquely thorough quality control, we have established a high-mix, small-lot production system to achieve abundant variations and compelling high-precision, high-quality manufacturing.

Furthermore, by decentralizing the production line and creating multiple supply chains, we are able to comply with the Business Continuity Plan (BCP). Even in the event of a disaster, a stable supply can be provided as in normal times.

Supporting fully custom-made product manufacturing from small lots to mass production

ASOH is capable of fully custom-made manufacturing of small valves in accordance with product development. We design exclusively from the parts, and in the development process, we manufacture many prototypes to identify issues and support rapid development.

After the prototype is completed, we also handle mass production prototypes with the aim of reducing manufacturing costs. We support the stable supply of high-quality, fully custom-made products, from small lots to mass production.

High-precision machining by ultra-high-precision jig borer and machining center

In order to achieve high-precision machining, we have adopted many advanced machines. We perform high-precision machining using world-class ultra-high-precision jig borers and machining centers. A dedicated blade with special specifications and a focal indexing chuck have been adopted to achieve high-precision one-chuck, 4-direction simultaneous drilling. We also pursue high surface roughness for the seat surface finish, which is important for ensuring airtightness.

In addition, precision assembly is also performed for needle valves. Complete sealing with a metal touch is achieved by precise machining adjustments.

Established an inspection system for pressure resistance, airtightness, etc. that conforms to the standards of Japan and other countries

In each manufacturing process, in addition to the valve body pressure test, a valve seat leakage inspection, performance test, external inspection, etc. are conducted for all valves. We have established an inspection system that complies with Japanese standards as well as international standards such as ISO, ASME/ANSI, and DIN.

In addition, we use a dedicated leak tester, thread gauge, etc. for accurate measurements of finished products. We deliver products that have met strict quality standards, such as conforming to industry standards and the standards of the export destination.

The material of the O-ring can be changed for chemical resistance and compatibility with diesel fuel and gasoline. It is also possible to change the plating of the valve surface to gold, bronze, etc. to match the design of the manufacturer's product for kitchen equipment and other products.
